The next letter from the producers is slated to be released in late-July, featuring new Sync Pairs and events launching for August.

App Update Summary
The full changelog from the Version 2.46.0 update can be read here. Below, we've summarized the notable changes with this update.

Damage Challenge
Content for the Damage Challenge has been added with this update, and will be available for Players to attempt from June 27th, at 11:00pm (PDT). See below for more information.

 Trainer Lodge Update
From June 30th at 11:00pm (PDT), players who have teamed up with Kabu & Centiskorch will be able to invite Kabu to the Trainer Lodge. At the same time, the Summer Style will be added to the Redecorate menu of the Lodge Exchange.

Japanese Voice Changes
Following the recent retirement of Haruka Ito, the Japanese voice actor for Gardenia, the character has now been recast. All of Gardenia's lines have now been re-recorded by their new voice actor, Yu Serizawa. No chamges have been made to any English voice actors.

Damage Challenge
Pokémon Masters EX are introducing new challenging battle content with the new Damage Challenge feature, which will be added to the game on June 27th.

In this content, Players will attempt to deal as much damage as possible to an opponent within a set time limit. These battles are balanced so that only supereffective attacks from the player's team will be able to deal damage, but that players will also have little to fear from their opponent's attacks, meaning players can focus on setting up their teams in order to dish out maximum pain. After completing the challenge, Players will receive Training Tickets as rewards based on the amount of damage dealt. These Training Tickets can then be exchanged for special Sync Pairs.

The Damage Challenge is a permanent addition to the game, however the battle content for this Challenge will change on a periodic basis, offering different sets of opponents with different weaknesses. The number of opponents will also vary between each battle, with players sometimes facing a single solitary opponent, and at other times a full team of 3.

A time-limited Ranked Damage Event will be held in late July, following the same basic rules as the Damage Challenge, while giving Players a score based on their result across three separate battles. Additional special rules will also apply to battles in this event, ensuring a special challenge compared to the regular Damage Challenge.
New Summer Sync Pairs debut alongside a brand new Story Event
Two new Summer seasonal Sync Pairs will be added to the game over the coming week, alongside a brand new Story Event, Exciting Treasure Hunt, which commences on June 27th. In this event, Lear hosts a treasure-hunt, offering a "generous reward" to the winners. While participating in the contest, Gardenia finds a suspicious cave...

Gardenia (Summer 2024) & Dhelmise are a Ghost-type Field role Sync Pair with a Support EX Role. Based on past precedent, their Seasonal Scout should begin alongside the Exciting Treasure Hunt Story Event on June 27th, at 11:00pm (PDT).

Gardenia (Summer 2024) & Dhelmise's Passive Skill allows them to buff all allies Special Moves ↑ Next effect by 1 rank, as well as randomly increasing one of Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness for all allies every time they create a Zone. It's quite fortunate then that they're able to create both Ghost and Steel Zones through a combination of different moves and Passive Skills. Their Summer Hues Shadow Ball Buddy Move for instance lays down a Ghost Zone and attacks all opponents, debuffing their Attack and Sp. Atk by 1 rank, and has a 20% chance of additionally lowering thir Sp. Def by 1 stat rank. Another Passive Skill meanwhile creates a Steel Zone the first time Gardenia (Summer 2024) & Dhelmise use Metal Sound in battle, while yet another Passive Skill allows that move to hit all opponents and lower their Sp. Def by 2 stat ranks.

Acerola (Summer 2024) & Jellicent are a Ghost-type Support role Sync Pair with a Tech EX Role. While no date for their launch has yet been explicitly given, it is expected they will debut in their own Seasonal Scout 2 days after Gardenia (Summer 2024) & Dhelmise, most likely on June 29th.

Acerola (Summer 2024) & Jellicent are a highly durable pair, able to dish out buffs for themselves and their allies, debuff opponents attacking them, and heal damage done to them and their team. Their Shoreline Ominous Wind Buddy Move meanwhile raises all allies'Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, and Speed by 2 stat ranks, and can be used up to 2 times, providing large across-the-board buffs for the team. One of their Trainer moves meanwhile allows them to raise their own Water Type Rebuff and Ghost Type Rebuff by 2 stat ranks each, providing them with strong defences against those types. This is supplemented by their Touch at Your Own Peril Passive Skill, which has a chance of lowering the Attack and Sp. Attack of opponents that attack them by 2 stat ranks. And to top all this off, whenever their attack move is successful, one of their Passive Skills will restore HP to all allies. If that's not enough, their Recover move can restore their own HP by roughly 50%, and will also apply the Gradual Healing effect to all allies thanks to another Passive Skill.

New content for the Mysterious Stones Chapter
A brand new story area for the Mysterious Stones Chapter, Adventures to Unknown Worlds, will be available in-game from June 30th, featuring a meeting between Steven and Brandon. To access this area, players will need to have acquired a minimum of 800 Mysterious Stones. These can be obtained as completion rewards from Daily Region Rotation battles, as well as rarely from Trainer Lodge expeditions, and from some area info in the Training Areas.

Mysterious Stones that are exchanged in Monthly Exchanges will still count for unlocking this and other areas for the Mysterious Stones Chapter, as these unlocks are based on stones acquired rather than stones on hand.
