Interaction between Good Neighbors International and TAE of QEdLab (BVHS) members on potential, mutual cooperation for future educational endeavors.
Two locally available female teaching volunteers (Ms. Manisha Chettri and Ms. Sushma Gaudel) were recruited on provisional basis for the purpose of supporting the Montessori Coordinator in her day to day teaching efforts
School In a Bag (SIAB) distribution program involving Mr. Jimmy Lama (HELP Nepal) and BVHS family, students, teachers and parents at the premises of BVHS, Phalebas, Parbat. Mr. Lama wholeheartedly distributed 57 units of fully aided School bags to all the students of Montessori based Pre- School and the Primary segment (Grades 1-2-3) of BVHS. In addition, Mr. Tarun Raj Onta, Proprietor of Veterinary Concern, Kathmandu also contributed for 10 units of the SIAB School bags.
Basic Teachers training in Montessori based Pre-School teaching imparted to two of previously working Primary School teachers from BVHS, Ms. Shova Paudel and Ms. Jyoti Khatri at Trillium Montessori Teachers Training Center, Bhaktapur.
Field visit with Ms. Deepika Shrestha, Principal and Teachers trainer and Ms. Yuna Chitrakar, a supporting tutor at Trillium Montessori based Pre- School and Training center, Bhaktapur for promotional publicity related activities around Phalebas for the initiation of conducting Montessori based Pre- School education at BVHS, Phalebas, Parbat.
Equipped school with proper furnishing and furniture to ensure the basic furnishing needs of the Montessori based Pre- School unit and the Primary segment (Grades 1-2-3).
Meeting with Nepal Education Initiative Organization (NEIO), President, Mr. Wayne Cheung for the discussion of prospective mutual cooperation in the field of imparting quality based education in Public Schools of Nepal. NEIO support of USD 1000 played a crucial role for the immediate conduction of the Montessori based Pre- primary and Primary segment (Grade 1-2-3) for the School calendar 2017-18 (2074 B.S.) at BVHS, Phalebas, Parbat.
Visited the School exhibition organized at Army Headquarter ground, Tudikhel, Kathmandu involving ECEC and other prominent schools around Nepal in pursuit of quality based education.
